Zac graduated from the University of Cambridge in June 2019 and joined the team shortly afterwards. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a particular interest in internal medicine.
He is a keen runner, regularly out on the fells of Rivington. He also competes for Blackburn Harriers on the track in the summer.
The rest of his time is spent entertaining his dog Andy his rescue cat, Rosa.

Zophia
Zophia spends most of her time managing the practice and our wonderful team. Keeping everything running smoothly is more than a full time job, and on top of this Zophia is always looking for ways in which we can exceed our clients' expectations.
Most of Zophia's time is spent behind the scenes supporting our team, and complements the veterinary staff. She particularly likes the diversity and challenges that occur daily, and helping owners and their companions.
Outside of work Zophia is just as busy with her three boys, two dogs and cat. Unsurprisingly, the animals are easier to deal with.

Louise (RVN)
Louise joined our Standish team as head veterinary nurse in December 2019. She qualified with a level 3 diploma in veterinary nursing in 2016 from the College of Animal Welfare.
She enjoys all aspects of nursing care and has a keen interest in diagnostic imaging and being involved with orthopaedic surgery!
Louise has a Border Terrier called Toby alongside family dog Skye who is a Labrador cross. Outside of work, you will usually find her playing golf!

Nicky (RVN)
Nicky has been at Tyldesley Vets since we opened in September 2000, she also assisted in the opening of Standish Veterinary Centre in December 2019 and now splits her time between both practices.
She qualified in 1999 after doing her training at Myerscough College. She is our head nurse and is also in charge of the insurance paperwork. She has a Jack Russell, Rosie, who comes to work with her every day.
Nicky has a keen interest in horse riding and has two horses, Josh and Meg, whom she competes with most weekends.

Catherine (RVN)
Catherine qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2009. She joined Adlington Veterinary Centre in July 2015.
Catherine can often be found making the vets jealous with her trademark breakfast of oat and banana pancakes.
Outside of work, she enjoys exercising, especially with her little whippet, Stan.

Jade (RVN)
Jade joined the practice at our grooming salon in Bents Garden Centre in April 2015 as one of our qualified groomers.
She has recently qualified as a Veterinary Nurse.
She has a dog Conker, a pointer cross. She also has a crazy rescue cat called Archie.

Jess
Jess joined our Standish team as our student veterinary nurse in December 2019.
She is a mum of 2 giant Newfoundland, Dougie and Sully and forever cleaning their drool with their fashion bibs!
In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym and socialising with friends! Jess is looking forward to qualifying as a veterinary nurse in a few years time!
